PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
CreteSafe B-250 is a water-based bituminous emulsion modified with highly elastic polymers. The material is used to protect concrete structures, both above and below the ground level. The applied coating has no seams or joints and protects the treated surface from the penetration of water, salt by 100%, and also protects against any chemical exposure. CreteSafe B-250 r does not lose its properties under the influence of sunlight. It is used in combination with an inorganic salt solution to create an instant hardening coating. The material is elastic. It allows you to avoid the appearance of cracks and ruptures during the settlement of structures during operation. The material is applied with specially designed equipment. The material is water-based, solvent-free, non-toxic and environmentally friendly. When working with CreteSafe B-250, there is no need to use open fire and material heating. The operating temperature range of the coating is from -45 ̊C to +80 C (peak -55 C and +95 C).

CreteSafe B-250 is easy to apply and provides excellent waterproofing and chemical protection due to the highly flexible, seamless membrane which does not crack or wear. CreteSafe B-250 is not exposed to acids, alkalis, salts and other inorganic chemicals. The waterproofing coating created by CreteSafe B-250 material does not lose its properties for more than 20 years. CreteSafe B-250 is sprayed in combination with an inorganic salt solution to create a waterproofing roofing coating which allows to get a ready-to-use waterproofing coating within seconds. CreteSafe B-250 is an alternative to conventional hot-applied bituminous coatings and solvent-based protective coatings, it is easier to use than ready-made polymer film.
PREPARATION OF THE BASE BEFORE APPLYING THE EMULSION
The base for CreteSafe B-250 shall be clean, dry, and free of substances that prevent adhesion (grease, dust, stains from gasoline and diesel fuel, etc.). Before applying CreteSafe B-250, it is recommended to prime the
surface with a primer from Liquid Rubber line of materials. Without an inorganic salt solution, CreteSafe B-250 can be applied as a primer to any building structure made of bricks, blocks and concrete.
PERFORMANCE OF WORK
Before using CreteSafe B-250, it is necessary to mix it manually, or with a construction mixer at low speed for 3-5 minutes. The CreteSafe B-250 emulsion is applied using HVLP 2000GX sprayer, which has been specially designed for the application of Liquid Rubber materials. The coating becomes dry to the touch in one minute, the full drying process is within 24-48 hours, depending on weather conditions.
CONSUMPTION
Material consumption depends on the thickness of the desired membrane and ranges from 2 to 3.5 kg/m2.
The consumption of CreteSafe B-250 emulsion to get a dry coating layer with 2 mm of thickness is ≈ 2.7 kg/m2.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF WORK
Work shall be carried out at air temperature from +5 to + 30°C and relative air humidity no more than 80%. The material is a medium alkaline substance. Wear protective clothing, goggles and gloves while working. Wash off fresh dirt with water. Cured material can be removed with white spirit solvent. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice. When using the material, please, follow current regulations related to construction.
STORAGE
The material shall be stored in undamaged tightly closed packaging in a dry place at a temperature no lower than +5°C. The shelf life is within 12 months from the date of manufacture indicated on the packaging. Unused material may be stored until the end of the shelf life in a container with the lid tightly closed.
WARNING
Keep away from children. Protect from freezing! The emulsion shall not be applied at an ambient temperature below +5°C. An incompletely cured membrane may be damaged if it freezes. Do not apply the material onto wet or frozen surfaces. Avoid contact of the material with any solvents.
When applying this product, please, follow safety guidelines, wear gloves, goggles, and other appropriate protective equipment.
